DIY Raglan Shirt For Kids + FREE .SVG

Easter is almost here, and I just made the kids their shirts for the big Easter egg hunt our neighborhood is having over the weekend. This was such an easy project, and it only cost me $12/shirt rather than ordering them through a t-shirt company and paying out the wazoo! I bought the shirts for about $6.40 each here plus free shipping!

What you need to make the shirt:

1. A toddler Raglan shirt, or baseball tee of any kind/color...the toddler raglan shirt was only $6.40 (with free shipping). The best place to buy toddler raglan shirts

2. A cutting machine (or some other method for applying vinyl) i used my Cricut, (same kind of machine as the Silhouette)

3. Heat transfer vinyl (I buy from here because it's the cheapest) I used the Siser Easyweed HTV, so if you are heat pressing, you'll want to heat at 305ºF, and press for 15 seconds. You can remove hot or cooled.

4. T-shirt heat press, or an iron if you don't have one--it will work just fine.

5. The free svg file for Cricut (or any other cutting machine). I made this using another program on my computer, then uploaded it into Crictut design space.

The total cost to make this item?? ...a whopping $6.96. Total. That's it.

After you download the.SVG cut file, you'll use your machine to cut the image and you'll need to weed the letters, removing the excess vinyl.

Here's how mine looked (still on the transfer paper).

Simply press your Raglan shirt before you start anything. it's good to get the wrinkles out and heat it before you press the design. Remember to change your heat settings to the numbers shown here.
