The GOOD:
The Prep. ✺
Fruit and vegetable prep is little to none (literally) compared to other juicers on the market. With the Breville Juice Fountain, you can throw a whole apples and carrots straight down the chute, without ever reaching for a knife. It's compact, stainless-steel style makes it's countertop appearance less of an eye-soar, unlike other juicers we've owned in the past.

With it's 1,000-watt motor at 13,000 RPM (crazy, right?), this Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain can fill it's pitcher in the time it takes my husband to lace up his shoes--we tested this. The commercial performance juicer also extracts more juice per fruit/vegetable than previous juicers we've owned in the past. If you have young children, it gets better. The Juice Fountain is significantly quieter than other juicers. Another thing we love about it is that you also have an option for low-speed for certain fruits and vegetables that are more heat sensitive.
The Clean-up. ⚠︎
In the past, I would avoid the juicing process entirely because of the amount of time it would take to clean every nook and cranny, but that isn't the case with the Juice Fountain. It takes less than 10 seconds to disassemble the four parts, and just 2 minutes to rinse. I have found that it's better to spend the money on a product you will use than to save a few pennies on something that will never get touched. The components on the Juice Fountain are also dishwasher safe, which is not the case for many other juicers.

The NOT SO GOOD:
Making sure the juicer components dry completely is crucial, otherwise they will rust. We left town for a few days with a speck of built-up water in the lip of the main component, and rust tried to make it's way in. The price is also pretty steep, but that's the case for most juicers, if you're looking for a quality, long-lasting juicer.
